Wine and Dine
Became habits of mine
For work was not hectic
And my story is an epic.
Distinct as it sounds
My love for Dogs knows no bounds
So, for my daily bread
Dogs were what i bred.
Became habits of mine
For work was not hectic
And my story is an epic.
Distinct as it sounds
My love for Dogs knows no bounds
So, for my daily bread
Dogs were what i bred.
Some with fluffy fur,
Some with happy eyes,
Some with long ears,
Some with strong legs.
They come in all sizes,
They come in all colors.
They love to bark - And
They love to lick.
When i try and desert them
Happiness seem to desert them.
So, For my daily bread,
Dogs were what i bred.
Of the pack of many
At the back was a puppy,
She looked all sloppy - And
Her fur looked all brownie.
I named her candy - For
I loved wine and candies.
Each time i cuddled candy
I was no longer moody,
Candy and others made my days
As smile and joys adored my face.
So, For my daily bread,
Dogs were what i bred.
As time sailed by
Our time, grew high.
I loved her antics
When we played thief,
People loved our tactics
When we nabbed thieves.
For me, dogs were my kin
And they stuck with me
Through thick and thin.
So, For my daily bread,
Dogs were what i bred.
Along came a kid
Who made a bid,
Not of money
But of love.
He made a plea - And
I was unable to flee,
For he asked for candy
And promised to be handy,
To take care of the pack
When i do my eternal nap.
I had to agree - They needed
Someone after me.
So, For my daily bread,
Dogs were what i bred.
Soon candy left - And
Barrels of Brandy rose.
No longer i knew love- And
My care for the kin, dove.
To give away candy - As
I bargained for more shandy,
It was a mistake - Which
Was realized too late.
As each day blurred
Each dog resembled her.
I could not leave them out
Since I knew nothing else inside-out.
So, For my daily bread,
Dogs were what i bred.
The boy was kind
To take the reins
As he realized
I no longer had brains.
With no sense of time - And
With no sense of mine,
I sit here and gape
Awaiting my eternal nap.
Wine and dine
Became habits of mine.
Oh! And I still remember,
For my daily bred
Dogs were what i bred.
So, For my daily bread,
Dogs were what i bred.
Soon candy left - And
Barrels of Brandy rose.
No longer i knew love- And
My care for the kin, dove.
To give away candy - As
I bargained for more shandy,
It was a mistake - Which
Was realized too late.
As each day blurred
Each dog resembled her.
I could not leave them out
Since I knew nothing else inside-out.
So, For my daily bread,
Dogs were what i bred.
The boy was kind
To take the reins
As he realized
I no longer had brains.
With no sense of time - And
With no sense of mine,
I sit here and gape
Awaiting my eternal nap.
Wine and dine
Became habits of mine.
Oh! And I still remember,
For my daily bred
Dogs were what i bred.
