A wonderful stroll
On a beautiful evening
Brought back scenes
With a brilliant sheen
Lighting the memory lane.
As images flashed by -
Of the many promised,
Of the much boasted,
Companies that never existed -
And why I trusted?
My conscience wondered -As
My legs wandered.
Putting that behind ,
For it no longer pained,
For I have gained,
A heart to love
A soul to die
A trust to smile
For time eternal
For me and me only.
