We cry and whine but give a damn,
We laugh and smile but are never happy,
We shout and yell but know not what to talk
After all life's like that...

Full of ifs and buts in the past and future -
Never in the present nor about the present,
And when it dawns it is already too late

For memoirs of past locks us up in a gate

With worrying lines of fate

Enacting the far and near future.

Neither waits nor rests,

Full of iffy.
